Surah Al-Mulk — Before Sleep

Surah Al-Mulk (سُورَةُ ٱلْمُلْك) is the 67th chapter of the Qur''an and one of the most beloved surahs to recite before sleeping. Its 30 verses declare that all sovereignty belongs to Allah, who created life and death to test which of us is best in deeds.

It calls the reader to reflect on the perfect design of the heavens, the earth, and the human being — and warns those who deny the signs of Allah. Read Surah Al-Mulk here in Arabic, English translation, and transliteration.

1

تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ١

Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things.
