What we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect user account or profile information in MVP. There are no user accounts, no profile fields, no analytics trackers, and no third-party advertising on the service.
What may be processed
Limited technical metadata (e.g. IP address, timestamps, request logs, server diagnostics, AI request payloads) may be processed by hosting and AI infrastructure providers for service operation, security, abuse prevention, and AI request handling.
On-device storage
Reading preferences, bookmarks, and last-read position are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. You can clear them at any time from the Settings page.
AI explanations
When you opt in to AI explanations, the verse text is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the reflection. Generated text may be cached server-side to reduce cost and latency. No personal information is included in these requests.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA / UK).
