وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ ٤
and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots
Quran 113:4
Al-Falaq, Ayah 4
The Daybreak
From the evil of those who blow on knots — sorcerers who tie knots and blow on them with incantations. The Prophet ﷺ himself was afflicted by such magic, and Allah sent these two surahs as his cure.

from the evil of whatever He has created
- Ayah 3وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
and from the evil of the night when it grows dark
- Ayah 5وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
and from the evil of an envier when they envy.”
